Climate-controlled storage in Farmington, CT
Indoor units at 155 Scott Swamp Road, kept heated in winter and cooled in summer, from a small locker up to a 24 by 30 room.
What climate control is for
A Connecticut storage unit goes through hard freezes in January and sticky, humid weeks in July. Most things shrug that off. Some do not. Wood furniture can crack or warp, paper and photographs curl and mildew, and electronics do not like condensation. A climate-controlled unit is heated and cooled, so the swings that cause that damage stay outside.
Who it is worth it for
If you are storing lawn equipment, tires or a pile of moving boxes for a month, you probably do not need it. Ask us and we will tell you straight.
- •Wood furniture, antiques and pianos

What is not climate-controlled
Our drive-up units and outdoor parking spaces are not heated or cooled. They are the right choice for things that do not mind the weather and are easier to load from the car.
